PVC Compounds
Rigid PVC
We specialize in PVC (polyvinyl chloride), a type of thermoplastic that is widely used in a variety of applications due to its versatility, durability and cost-effectiveness. With nearly 50 years of proven rigid and flexible PVC extrusion experience, LB offers extensive knowledge across a wide range of custom shapes and profiles.

Rigid PVC
Rigid PVC is hard and stiff making it a popular choice for building and construction applications such as pipes, siding, window frames, and decking. Due to its excellent weatherability and chemical resistance properties, it is also used in outdoor applications where it can resist UV radiation and chemicals.
Foam PVC
Foam PVC is a type of plastic material that is similar to traditional rigid PVC, but with the addition of a foaming agent. This foaming agent causes the material to expand and create a cellular structure, resulting in a material that is lightweight, strong, and durable. It is also known as foamed PVC, PVC foam or expanded PVC.

Flexible PVC – Pool Matting
Flexible PVC
Flexible PVC is a type of plastic that is more pliable and flexible than traditional rigid PVC. This type of PVC is ideal for a wide range of applications that require flexibility and durability, while still providing tear and impact resistance. Flexible PVC is available in different levels of hardness, or durometer, from really soft to semi-rigid.
ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate)
ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is a type of thermoplastic polymer that is used as a capstock material. It is known for its excellent weathering resistance and UV stability, especially for dark colors. ASA capstock is commonly used in applications such as decking, siding, and railing, where a high-performance surface coating is required to protect the product from the elements and prevent fading.

Regrind Staging
Regrind
Regrind – We recycle roughly 95% of our scrap onsite. We use the recycled compound called regrind in capstock products. Clean regrind is critical to the reuse of the product so we have robust procedures to ensure quality, which include:
- Keeping scrap clean during production and grinding process, including removing dust
- Tracking relevant information including date, profile, size of regrind, compound, supplier, and generation of regrind
- Storage in our dedicated regrind staging area
